Back to the Basics
Interestingly, during this break Google decided to terminate our Adsense account, so it's just about time to take stock and reoptimize this site. Meanwhile, we want to do our bit for the Myanmar and China disaster victims and will be redirecting all our adspace to the work of WorldVision, our preferred agency there. Life's Transitions
We're taking a break for the next three months to sort out some major transitions. Hopefully that will mean more time to develop Peopod Music and other new web ventures that we'll be part of. Making Tracks
We had over 83GB worth of downloading traffic this month. I'm not convinced about the maths for this but if a track's 4MB, that's over 20000 song downloads!!? We're certainly glad we're making some folks happy with our music!

Musicbox CSE Launches
After weeks of research and refinement, Musicbox finally takes off at Peopod! We've designed our Custom Search Engine (CSE) to access a million+ songs within a click of landing, linked to reviews, ratings, comments. Some free music is necessary to support half of the online industry that does music promotion through podcasting, blog reviews and word of mouth, and get audiences listening.

11th Unisong International Song Contest
It's not been pre-released but Peopod love ballad 'In Your Eyes' has been awarded an honor mention and Top 50 category placing! Unisong is a unique competition showcase created for songwriters by songwriters and with a 10-year history, is one of the first international song contests drawing thousands of song entries yearly.

A Youth to Youth Short Film
Peopod's glad to lend our music to support young producers who are sharing important messages to other youth. Here's a film targeted at youths against gambling commissioned by our South East CDC, MCYS and NCPGS (National Committee of Preventive Gambling in Singapore). It's been given out to schools to hit at least 40,000 youths. Pretty well done. Congrats to your team, Shaun!

Thirst in an Ocean, Summer of Life and Cinderella are awarded honor mentions in this prestigious US competition. Surely one of the friendliest organised contests around as they even airmailed sunglasses and guitar strings with the award certificates!
